2019 WLC Annual Missions Conference

Saturday, February 16, 2019, 6:00 PM - Sunday, February 17, 2019, 2:00 PM

What is Family Mission Fellowship?

The WLC Family Mission Fellowship (FMF) exists to move Christian families into partnerships for Christ's global mission (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 4:1-31; Romans 10:14-15; Ephesians 6:10-12; 1 Peter 2:4-10).

Please contact any of the 2019 committee members for more information about FMF, the missionaries we support, the dinners and prayer times we host throughout the year and how to get involved. The 2019 committee members are:  Pete Meyer, Cheryl Fortin, Janine Johnson, Emma Smith, and Rebecca Parini with deacon and pastoral advisory from Paul Zabel and Pastor Rex Howe.

What is the Missions Conference?

The aim of our missions conference is to inspire involvement in missions through educational programs; attract our young and old to "pray, give, and go"; organize short-term mission experiences; and, faithfully support, steward, and grow our missionary roster. All are encouraged to attend.

We are looking forward to this opportunity to encourage one another, enjoy a time of sharing and learning about Christ's mission in Eurasia, and a time of fellowship and hospitality. We warmly invite you to come and reconnect with familiar faces and get to know new friends; be refreshed and experience a taste of Eastern European culture as you enjoy the special activities FMF will be hosting including a dinner following the worship service: Beef stroganoff, Eastern European vinaigrette salad, and a delicious typical dessert with Uzbek tea (or coffee!)

Who are our speakers?

Our speakers will be Dima and Maria Kotik who are ministering to churches in Eastern Europe and Asia. The Kotiks serve with ABWE and participate in discipleship, pastoral training, and church planting. We will also be presenting some opportunities for adults to participate in short term missions trips.  All are encouraged to attend and spend more time with the Kotiks.

For more information, please feel free to contact Pete Meyer or Janine Johnson.
