What to expect at West Lisbon
Where do I go when I arrive?
Sunday Worship Service starts at 10:15 AM in the Sanctuary and last about an hour. We open with some announcements followed by some praise through singing of modern worship songs and also traditional hymns and there will be teaching from the Bible that you can apply to your life. We usually end with a hymn or song and a benediction.
From Sept. - May, Sunday School for ALL AGES starts at 9:00 AM; kids can be dropped off in the Sanctuary for opening exercises and then will follow their teachers to the classrooms, adults start in the Fellowship Hall, then break into small groups. Fellowship time for all ages is held in the fellowship hall immediately following Sunday School.
What should I wear?
You will see diverse clothing attire on Sundays; you could see everything from a suit and tie to T-shirts and jeans.
Can my kids come?
Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your kids with you to the main Worship Service. They are welcome to stay for the entire service. We also offer nursery care for birth - 3 yrs of age during Sunday school and during the worship service. Children's Church for Preschool-5th grade is available during the worship service, children are dismissed before the sermon. For your convenience, there is a changing station located in each of the restrooms.
Accessibility
Plenty of parking is available at West Lisbon, including several handicap accessible spaces. An elevator is available for individuals that are unable to use the stairs leading up to the sanctuary. Restrooms and the Fellowship Hall are all located on the first floor of the building.
