What to Expect

What to expect at West Lisbon

(Updated 7/12/2020)  WLC is currently holding in-person worship services and office hours. Sunday Worship Service starts at 9:00 am and will be held in the sanctuary. Nursery and Children’s Church are currently suspended. To help make everyone comfortable, masks and hand sanitizer will be made available, and seating is limited to every other pew.

We will also be live-streaming the worship service to the Fellowship Hall. Families have the option to gather for worship service together in the sanctuary or at the tables in the Fellowship Hall.

Pray that God will use this time to strengthen and encourage our church. We look forward to seeing you!

Where do I go when I arrive?

Sunday Worship Service starts at 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary and lasts about an hour and 10 min. We open with some singing, then an update on community life (i.e., announcements) and then we’ll do some more singing and there will be teaching from the Bible that you can apply to your life. We usually end with a hymn or song and a blessing.

From September thru May, we offer Sunday School classes immediately following the worship service for all ages.

What should I wear?

You will see diverse clothing attire on Sundays; you could see everything from a suit and tie to T-shirts and jeans.

Can my kids come?

Absolutely! You are welcome to bring your kids with you to the main Worship Service. They are welcome to stay for the entire service.  For your convenience, there is a changing station located in each of the restrooms.

Accessibility

Plenty of parking is available at West Lisbon, including many handicap accessible spaces. An elevator is available for individuals that are unable to use the stairs leading up to the sanctuary. Restrooms and the Fellowship hall are all located on the first floor of the building.
