What to Expect

What to expect at West Lisbon

Where do I go when I arrive?

Sunday Worship Service starts at 9:00 AM in the Sanctuary and lasts about an hour and 15 min. First, there are announcements, then some singing, and then you'll hear some teaching that you can apply to your life. We usually end with a hymn and a blessing.

From September thru May, we offer Sunday School classes immediately following the worship service. The adult classes meet in the gymnasium, fellowship hall and conference room. Children's classes start by meeting up in the sanctuary (#openingexercises). Then the teachers will take their students to their classrooms downstairs (4th and 5th grade meet in the sanctuary classroom).

What should I wear?

You will see diverse clothing attire on Sundays; you could see everything from a suit and tie to T-shirts and jeans.

Can my kids come?

Absolutely! Nursery care is provided every Sunday during both Sunday School and Worship Service.  Stop by the Church Office or ask the greeters about Children’s Church or Nursery care. They will help you figure out where your kids will go and when.  If you are hesitant to let your kids head to the children’s program alone, that is totally fine! You are welcome to take a tour of the children's classrooms to get better acquainted with our Children’s Ministry, or you can bring your kids with you to the main Worship Service. They are welcome to stay for the entire service.

For your convenience, there is a changing station located in each of the restrooms.
